Role overview
Support data platforms that underpin the business across on-premises, cloud and PaaS environments.
Work with cloud engineers, architects and developers to design, optimise and support secure, scalable data environments.
Contribute to technology solutions through production database monitoring and performance improvement.
Location and working pattern
- The role follows a hybrid schedule with two to three days per week in the Thorpe Park, Leeds office.
- Core hours are 09:30 to 16:00, with flexibility around those hours.
Contract and compensation
- The role is permanent and full time.
- Salary is dependent on experience and includes extensive benefits.
- Out-of-hours on-call periods may attract additional compensation.
Responsibilities
- Ensure database platforms remain highly available, resilient and performant.
- Maintain database security, access controls, reviews and audits.
- Enable reliable data integration and reporting with BI, application and middleware teams.
