Data Warehouse Lead Developer

Key Responsibilities

• · Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.
• · Optimize SQL queries and database performance (indexing, execution plans, tuning).
• · Support data extraction, transformation, and reporting requirements.
• · Work closely with applications, BI, and data teams to understand data needs.
• · Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems.
• · Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
• · Troubleshooting and resolving job failures or alert triggers
• · Support production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• · Work independently and collaborate with business, BI, and reporting teams.

Required Skills

• · Strong hands-on experience in Data Warehousing concepts and architecture.
• · Strong knowledge of Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, and Triggers
• · Hands‑on experience with SQL Server Jobs for scheduling and automation
• · Ability to configure and manage Alerts & Notifications for proactive monitoring
• · Design, develop, and maintain Data Warehouse solutions.
• · Design star/snowflake schemas, fact and dimension tables.
• · Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance optimization.
• · Support data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple source systems.
• · Expertise in writing complex joins, subqueries, CTEs, and window functions.
• · Experience in performance tuning and query optimization.
• · Good understanding of relational database design and normalization.
• · Experience with stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• · Familiarity with ETL concepts and data warehousing basics.
• · Experience with cloud data platforms
