Parsons is now hiring a Data Scientist with a passion for innovation and solving mission critical challenges to support our US PACOM customer.
Specific Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and meet objectives; perform data collection, analysis, and interpretation to support strategic initiatives.
- Retrieve, clean, and validate large structured and unstructured datasets for accuracy and usability.
- Can explain complex, technically difficult information in an easily-understood manner to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate predictive models and algorithms to support decision-making processes; continuously monitor and refine models to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
- Educate and mentor on how to effectively use and interpret data, ensuring users can independently derive insights and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Required Education And Experience
- 7 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; will consider experience in lieu of degree
- 7 years’ experience working in a multi-skilled team environment collaborating on data analytics
- Bachelor's Degree in related technical or scientific field or - equivalent experience within related field.
- Experience implementing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines and workflow automation
