Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction, oversee operational execution, and ensure alignment with the school’s mission, vision, and long term objectives.
- Set and monitor performance goals, manage budgets and resource allocation, and evaluate academic and research initiatives.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and external partners to build strong relationships, support technology transfer, and enhance industry engagement.
- Oversee governance, risk management, and continuous improvement of processes to foster innovation, student success, and impactful research outcomes.
Requirements
- Leadership and management skills, including strategic planning, organizational oversight, and decision making capabilities.
- Experience in academic, research, or engineering environments, with a strong understanding of higher education operations and stakeholder engagement.
- Financial and operational competency, including budgeting, resource management, and performance monitoring.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship building skills with diverse internal and external partners.
- Ability to drive innovation, support technology transfer, and foster partnerships with industry and government agencies.
- Proven track record in governance, risk management, and process improvement within complex organizations.
- Advanced degree in engineering, business, public administration, or a related field is highly preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.

Role Description
- The Owner role is a full time, on site position based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area.
