Data Scientist

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to support business and mission analytics through quantitative and qualitative analysis, data visualization, and data-driven decision-making.

This position will work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and relationships and translate findings into clear, actionable insights.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Tableau, Excel, and data preparation tools, along with the ability to communicate analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to address complex business and mission questions
• Collect, transform, manipulate, validate, and analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple sources
• Apply statistical and data-driven techniques to identify trends, patterns, relationships, and actionable insights
• Develop dashboards, visualizations, mockups, and prototypes using Tableau and related tools
• Use Python, SQL, Excel, and data preparation tools to clean, combine, and analyze datasets
• Interpret data models and work across a variety of data sources and structures
• Translate customer requirements into analytical, project, and system specifications
• Collaborate with customers to define requirements and resolve data-related questions
• Document analytical workflows, processes, methodologies, and results
• Present analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Manage multiple analytical tasks independently with minimal supervision
• Must be fully cleared with a recent polygraph
• Must be willing and able to work fully onsite at the location listed in this posting
• Experience in at least two of the following areas: business analytics, statistics, data verification/validation, or data visualization
