Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Use R, R Shiny, Python, and SQL to develop data-driven solutions for complex datasets.
• Use large language models, optical character recognition, and web scraping to extract, analyze, and model unstructured data.
• Use Google Cloud Platform and Azure to design scalable data pipelines and environments.
• Apply mathematics, statistics, modeling, machine learning, and optimization techniques.
• Manage, clean, transform, and visualize data from complex databases.
• Build user interfaces with Shiny or Dash for predictive models and analytics dashboards.
• Create and maintain predictive models, dashboards, automation programs, and other data-driven tools for technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Keep current with developments in data science, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence.

Qualifications and Experience

• Advanced university degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
• A Master's degree is preferred.
• Three to five years of relevant experience, with the experience level depending on the candidate profile.
• Knowledge of actuarial concepts is a plus.
