Responsibilities
- Analyse source systems and datasets to identify data quality issues, inconsistencies and data gaps
- Perform data profiling to assess the quality and integrity of enterprise data
- Work with business stakeholders to define and validate Critical Data Elements (CDEs)
- Design, build and implement scalable Data Quality rules within Informatica IDMC
- Create and standardise reusable Data Quality rule templates and frameworks
- Execute validation, testing and optimisation of Data Quality rules
- Monitor rule performance and recommend improvements
- Track Data Quality metrics and monitor rule execution results
- Investigate and resolve Data Quality issues through root cause analysis
- Produce operational documentation, runbooks and user guides
- Deliver training and knowledge transfer sessions to Data Owners, Data Stewards and business users

- Strong hands on experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC)
- Proven experience implementing Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) solutions
- Experience designing and developing enterprise Data Quality rules

Role Overview
- We're supporting a global enterprise organisation undergoing a significant data transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Data Quality Engineer with strong Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) expertise.
- This is an opportunity to join a large scale data governance initiative, helping to establish enterprise wide data quality standards, implement robust data quality rules, and work alongside business and technical teams to improve the quality, consistency and trustworthiness of critical business data
- The initial contract is 6 months, with a strong likelihood of extension.
The Role
- Analyse source systems and datasets to identify data quality issues, inconsistencies and data gaps.
- Perform data profiling to assess the quality and integrity of enterprise data.
- Work with business stakeholders to define and validate Critical Data Elements (CDEs).
- Ensure alignment between Data Quality rules, business glossary and enterprise data standards.
- Design, build and implement scalable Data Quality rules within Informatica IDMC.
- Create and standardise reusable Data Quality rule templates and frameworks.
- Execute validation, testing and optimisation of Data Quality rules.
