Responsibilities
- Support scaling and adoption of global data and analytics products locally, including I4I, CEI, and Todai/Next Best Experience enablement
- Lead hands on requirements discovery and business analysis, partnering with local functions to frame business problems
- Contextualize analytics outputs with local business realities and translate outputs into actionable insights
- Design and develop scalable, automated reports and dashboards using Power BI
- Partner with Data Excellence and cross functional teams to ensure data products meet quality, governance, and security standards
- Partner with ICC/GCM for scalable delivery of DD&T data products and services
Requirements
- University degree in data analytics, computer science, information systems, business, or related discipline
- 5 7 years of experience in roles bridging business and data (e.g., analytics business partner, data product owner, BI/analytics business analyst)
- Hands on business analysis and requirements elicitation skills
- Experience localizing or scaling enterprise data products in a commercial context
- Hands on working knowledge of modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Strong ability to interpret and contextualize advanced analytics outputs for non technical stakeholders
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and product backlog management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Pharmaceutical or other regulated industry experience strongly preferred

About the Role
- As the Manager, Data Products, you will enable Takeda Canada to realize greater value from enterprise data products by translating global capabilities into practical local impact.
- You will connect global data and analytics teams with Canadian business stakeholders to drive adoption, strengthen decision making, and help embed a more data driven culture.
- You will also serve as the LOC’s hands on requirements discovery partner.
How will you contribute
- Support scaling and adoption of global data and analytics products locally, with accountability for I4I, CEI, Todai/Next Best Experience enablement and scale up.
- Lead hands on requirements discovery and business analysis (solution agnostic).
- Contextualize analytics outputs with local business realities.
- Designs and develops scalable, automated, user friendly reports, dashboards, etc. using modern BI tools such as Power BI.
- Partner with Data Excellence and cross functional teams to ensure data products meet foundational data quality, governance, and security standards.
- Partner with ICC/GCM for scalable delivery.
What you bring to Takeda
- University degree in a relevant field such as data analytics, computer science, information systems, business, or a related discipline.
- 5 7 years of experience in roles that bridge business and data.
- Hands on business analysis and requirements elicitation skills.
- Demonstrated experience localizing or scaling enterprise data products in a commercial context.
- Hands on working knowledge of modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake), data modelling concepts, and data visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Strong ability to interpret and contextualize advanced analytics outputs for non technical business stakeholders.
- Ability to partner effectively with data engineers and data scientists.
- Strong working knowledge of pharmaceutical commercial and medical data ecosystems.
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and product backlog management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Base Salary Range
- CAD 115,000.00 CAD 158,400.00
