To be successful as a "Data Privacy Operations Manager" you should have experience with:

Good understanding of the data protection laws, such as GDPR, CCPA and other emerging regulation.
Ability to effectively collaborate with the IT departments to assess the risks, manage data breaches and ensure that technical safeguards in place to protect sensitive information against unauthorized access or data leaks.
Have an experience in conducting the DPIAs(Data Protection Impact Assessment).
Ability to interpret the privacy policies, conduct training session, and raise awareness about the data protection practices.
Incident response and breach management.

Data management standard concepts related to metadata, lineage, authoritative source.

This role is based in Pune.

Purpose of the role

To support the design and implementation of the Bank’s Data Privacy Framework, monitor and report on the Bank’s adherence to its obligations and commitments in relation to the responsible handling of personal data, and act as a point of contact with Data Protection Authorities (DPAs).

Development and maintenance of the Bank’s Data Privacy Framework, including the content of Data Privacy policies, processes and procedures and other artefacts, and supporting the Bank’s Data Protection Officers in monitoring and reporting on adherence to these.

To advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development and take responsibility for operational effectiveness. Collaborate closely with other functions/ business divisions.
Lead a team performing complex tasks, using well developed professional knowledge and skills to deliver on work that impacts the whole business function. Set objectives and coach employees in pursuit of those objectives, appraisal of performance relative to objectives and determination of reward outcomes
