Job Overview

  • We are seeking an experienced Data Management Specialist to support enterprise wide Data Governance, Data Catalog, Metadata Management, Data Classification, and Data Quality initiatives.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong hands on experience implementing and administering modern data management platforms while ensuring compliance with Saudi Arabian regulatory frameworks.
  • The successful candidate must possess practical implementation experience with enterprise data governance and data quality solutions and be willing to relocate to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Current CV must clearly demonstrate experience matching this JD
  • Must be willing to relocate to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
  • Hands on implementation experience with enterprise Data Catalog, Data Governance, and Data Quality tools is mandatory
  • Experience with SDAIA, NDMO, and PDPL frameworks is highly preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Catalog & Metadata Management: Implement, configure, and administer enterprise Data Catalog solutions; maintain automated metadata management processes; inventory, classify, document, and tag enterprise data assets; design and maintain metadata models, business glossary, taxonomy, and catalog s
  • Data Governance: Configure, administer, and monitor enterprise Data Governance platforms; support implementation of governance policies, workflows, approvals, and stewardship processes; enable governance dashboards, compliance monitoring, and policy enforcement.
  • Data Classification & Regulatory Compliance: Implement enterprise wide data classification frameworks; configure and publish classification labels; ensure compliance with SDAIA, NDMO, PDPL, and other applicable Saudi regulatory standards.
  • Data Quality Management: Configure and administer enterprise Data Quality platforms; perform comprehensive data profiling and quality assessments; design and implement reusable Data Quality rules; build automated validation rules and quality checks.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Develop Data Quality dashboards and KPI scorecards; produce governance, catalog, and compliance reports; integrate Data Quality tools with BI and reporting platforms.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business users to define Data Quality rules; work with Data Stewards and Custodians to implement governance processes; support business adoption of governance and quality tools.

Required Technical Skills

  • Data Catalog & Metadata: Collibra or Alation or Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog or Microsoft Purview
  • Data Governance: Collibra Data Governance or Microsoft Purview Governance or Informatica Axon or equivalent
  • Data Quality: Informatica Data Quality or Collibra Data Quality or Ataccama or Talend Data Quality or IBM QualityStage or equivalent
  • Metadata & Lineage: Metadata Management, Data Lineage, Business Glossary, Technical Metadata, Data Classification, Data Discovery
  • Regulatory Knowledge: SDAIA, NDMO, PDPL, Enterprise Data Governance Frameworks, Data Classification Standards, Information Security Policies
  • Additional Skills: Data Profiling, Data Cleansing, Data Validation, Data Remediation, Metadata Modeling, Workflow Configuration, Dashboard Development, KPI Reporting, SQL, Data Analysis, BI integrations, Documentation, Root Cause Analysis

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Information Management, or a related discipline. Master's degree is an advantage.
  • Preferred Certifications: Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), Data Governance & Stewardship Professional (DGSP), Collibra Certification, Informatica Certification, Microsoft Purview Certification, or equivalent.

Experience Required

  • 5+ years of hands on experience in Data Governance, Data Catalog, Metadata Management, Data Classification, and Data Quality.
  • Proven experience implementing enterprise Data Governance and Data Quality tools.
  • Experience configuring governance workflows, metadata ingestion, lineage, and business glossary.
  • Experience implementing enterprise Data Quality frameworks, scorecards, profiling, and monitoring.
  • Experience working within regulated environments and supporting compliance initiatives.
  • Experience collaborating with cross functional business and technology teams.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in cross functional teams.
  • Experience supporting enterprise wide data governance initiatives.
  • Strong documentation and reporting capabilities.
  • Knowledge of Saudi data governance regulations and compliance frameworks is highly preferred.
