The organisation is seeking an experienced Data Management Officer to join its Information Technology team in Dubai.

The role establishes and maintains a comprehensive view of the data landscape across multiple entities and business systems.

The position combines hands-on technical data work with data governance, privacy regulation, and AI readiness responsibilities.

Map and maintain data inventories across entities, applications, and systems.
Document end-to-end data flows and lineage, including APIs, interfaces, batch processes, exports, and integrations.
Maintain data inventories, dictionaries, ROPA, retention schedules, and data transfer registers.
Document data lifecycle activities including archiving, retention, deletion, backups, and replicas.
Use SQL and data models to validate data and identify limitations in joining or aggregating datasets.
Support the Data Protection Officer with DPIAs and other privacy requirements.
Apply data protection principles concerning lawful basis, consent, retention, and cross-border transfers, especially under UAE PDPL.
Provide data advisory and reporting support and identify data limitations.
Assess data quality, maturity, structure, accessibility, and governance requirements for AI and LLM enablement.
