Data Integration Engineer

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines, data warehouses, and database systems. You will work closely with software engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure clean, reliable, and highly performant data is available across the enterprise. The ideal candidate has strong programming skills, deep SQL expertise, and hands-on experience with modern ETL/ELT tools and cloud data platforms. Key Responsibilities

• Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and deploy scalable batch and real-time data ingestion and transformation pipelines (ETL/ELT).
• Data Quality & Monitoring: Implement automated validation checks to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Set up monitoring and alerting for pipeline failures.
• Performance Tuning: Optimize complex SQL queries, database indexing, and data pipeline execution times to ensure high performance.
• Collaboration: Partner with analytics, product, and business teams to understand their data needs and deliver clean, structured datasets.
• Technical Skills & Qualifications Required:
• Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in Python and advanced SQL .
• Data Pipelines: Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and tools
• Orchestration: Experience with workflow orchestration tools
• Databases: Strong understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Preferred:
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure - AWS
• Experience with containerization and Understanding of data streaming concepts (Kafka, Spark Streaming).
• Knowledge of version control (Git) and CI/CD practices.
• Experience & Education
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering, database development, or a related software engineering role. Proven track record of building and maintaining production-grade data pipelines.
