Role Summary

We are looking for a

Data & Insights Consultant

who can transform business data into

actionable insights and measurable outcomes

.

This role goes beyond traditional reporting and dashboarding — the focus is on

analyzing business performance, identifying opportunities, and recommending data-driven actions

across sales, marketing, and operations.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to understand challenges, derive insights from data, and drive

continuous improvement through analytics and automation

.

1. Business Understanding & Problem Structuring

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, KPIs, and operational challenges
  • Translate business problems into analytical questions and data models
  • Define success metrics aligned with revenue, efficiency, and customer experience

2. Insight Generation & Analysis

  • Analyze data across CRM, marketing platforms, and operational systems
  • Identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and performance gaps
  • Conduct:
  • Funnel analysis (lead → conversion → revenue)
  • Cohort and segmentation analysis
  • Campaign performance and ROI analysis
  • Provide
  • clear “so what” insights
  • , not just data summaries

3. Actionable Recommendations

  • Translate insights into
  • specific, implementable business actions
  • **Identify opportunities for:**
  • **Revenue growth**
  • Cost optimization
  • Process improvement
  • Recommend automation, workflow improvements, and system enhancements

4. Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory

  • Act as a
  • trusted advisor
  • to business and functional leaders
  • Present insights in a simple, structured, and decision-focused manner
  • Drive discussions around
  • data-backed decision making

5. Dashboarding & Reporting (Light but Effective)

  • Build and maintain
  • focused dashboards
  • using Power BI and Microsoft Excel
  • Ensure dashboards highlight:
  • Key KPIs
  • Performance trends
  • Action triggers
  • Avoid over-engineered reporting; focus on usability and clarity

6. Data Integration & Collaboration

  • Work with multiple systems such as CRM, ERP, and marketing tools
  • Collaborate with technical teams for data extraction, integration, and validation
  • Ensure data quality and consistency across sources

7. Continuous Improvement & Experimentation

  • Suggest and evaluate A/B tests and optimization strategies
  • Monitor impact of implemented actions and refine approach
  • Drive a culture of
  • data-led experimentation and improvement

Key Deliverables

  • Weekly / monthly
  • insight reports with actionable recommendations
  • **KPI dashboards focused on business performance**
  • **Funnel and customer journey analysis reports**
  • **Data-backed improvement plans and impact tracking**

Experience

  • 3–6 years in Business Analytics / Data Analytics / Consulting roles
  • Experience working with business stakeholders (sales, marketing, operations)

Core Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to convert data into
  • business insights and actions
  • **Excellent communication and storytelling skills**

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Power BI
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Exposure to CRM and marketing platforms is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in consulting or client-facing roles
  • Exposure to automation tools (workflows, APIs, or integrations)
  • Understanding of customer journey analytics and digital channels

Success Metrics (Kpis And Kras)

  • Quality and impact of insights delivered
  • Measurable business improvements (conversion, revenue, efficiency)
  • Stakeholder satisfaction and adoption of recommendations
  • Reduction in manual reporting and improved decision speed

  • Pure reporting or dashboard-focused profiles
  • Candidates focused only on data extraction and visualization
