Work on a full-time basis as a Data Engineer for one of the employer's clients.
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
Location and Work Arrangement
- The role is remote and can be performed from anywhere.
Compensation
- The payout is $140,000-$180,000 per year.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines to extract, transform, and load large datasets.
- Implement and maintain data warehouses and data lakes to support analytical and operational reporting.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data accessibility and integrity.
- Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Document data architecture, processes, and standards for team reference and compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases are required.
- Experience with ETL or ELT tools such as Airflow, Spark, or similar frameworks is required.
- Knowledge of data modeling and warehouse design principles is required.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure for data infrastructure is required.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to scalability and performance are required.
