Job Summary
The Data Flow Engineer creates and manages data connections, performs validations, and executes transformations.
The role supports iterative improvement of the system, with a focus on enhancing automated reconciliation through technology.
Data Flow Responsibilities
- Import and validate file deliveries for new clients.
- Automate daily process monitoring and reporting.
- Establish external API and FTP connections.
- Ensure dependable consumption of external portfolio data.
- Normalize external datasets into the standardized Clearwater format.
- Mine existing feeds to improve auto-reconciliation.
Issue Resolution and Communication
- Execute improvements requested by Operations and Development groups.
- Normalize new feeds and resolve issues using procedures and decision-making best practices.
- Explain general workflows, tools, and the Clearwater value proposition.
- Communicate technical system details and best practices to non-technical stakeholders.
- Participate in light on-call duties.
