This role supports the Naval Research & Development Establishment (NR&DE) within the Decision Advantage Solutions Hub (DASH) Integrated Product Team (IPT).
NR&DE includes 15+ warfare centers, NIWC Atlantic, University Affiliated Research Centers (UARCs), and a Federally Funded Research Development Center (FFRDC).
The organization operates several Communities of Practice (CoPs), each focused on solving domain‑specific challenges that often drive new analytics requirements.
As a Data Engineer, you will design, implement, and optimize data systems and pipelines that enable AI/ML applications for a Navy IT command.
You will collaborate with AI/ML engineers and technical teams to ensure scalable, reliable data processing.
This role applies modern data engineering practices to support machine learning deployment, enhance mission‑critical operations, improve data quality, uphold security standards, and strengthen data workflows across the client’s IT ecosystem.
