The Data Engineer will work within the Platform team as an individual contributor with high impact and autonomy.
The role owns infrastructure and pipelines supporting data-driven decision-making across the business.
The initial focus is evolving the Data Lake into a scalable, high-performance foundation for analytics and data science.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own and evolve Data Lake infrastructure and ETL pipelines.
- Migrate model calibration, ad-hoc analytics, and reporting workloads into the Data Lake.
- Partner with Data Science to enable scalable and efficient data usage.
- Redesign data structures and clustering strategies to improve query performance and data freshness.
- Optimize AWS infrastructure costs while maintaining reliability and scalability.
- Build production-grade data systems using modern AWS tooling.
