Data Engineer - Infrastructure (Remote)
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Data Engineer to work on a contract basis.
The role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support data-driven decision-making.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data reliability, quality, and accessibility for analytical and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into target systems
- Implement and maintain ETL/ELT processes to support data warehousing and analytics initiatives
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across all data assets and systems
- Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with SQL, Python, or Scala for data engineering tasks
- Proficiency in data pipeline tools such as Apache Airflow, Spark, or similar frameworks
