Role overview
The team owns operational frameworks for TD's Rahona big data platform, including high-scale ingestion, orchestration, and data retention systems.
The team releases to production biweekly and is developing AI-driven data engineering capabilities.
The role provides data modeling, quality, profiling, acquisition, ingestion, ETL, metadata, provenance, lineage, and related data management functions.
Data engineering delivery
- Analyze data and assess data management requirements for platforms or journeys, including complex work across multiple pods or products.
- Develop and maintain complex data models, ETL jobs, data quality processes, metadata, lineage, governance, and lifecycle management.
- Support data acquisition, ingestion, development, testing, issue resolution, and stakeholder data interpretation.
- Ensure data complies with enterprise standards, policies, and guidelines.
Technology and delivery
- Coordinate with technology, architecture, infrastructure, enterprise protection, QA, and change management teams.
- Support source code management, code check-in and checkout, CI/CD packaging and deployment, warranty activities, and release management.
