Role Overview
The team owns operational frameworks for TD's Rahona big data platform, including high-scale ingestion, orchestration, and data retention systems.
The team ships to production on a biweekly cadence and is building AI-driven data engineering capabilities.
The role covers data modeling, quality, profiling, acquisition, ingestion, ETL, metadata, provenance, lineage, and specialized data management.
Compensation
- Base pay is listed as $81,600 to $115,200 CAD.
- The role is eligible for discretionary variable compensation based on business and individual performance.
Customer Responsibilities
- Analyze data and assess data management requirements for platforms or journeys.
- Maintain knowledge of upstream data using profiling, quality reporting, and metadata.
- Support data acquisition, ingestion, data modeling, ETL, lifecycle management, governance, lineage, and metadata.
- Develop complex data models and ETL jobs using standard tools.
- Support development and testing teams with data investigations and issue resolution.
- Explain complex technical details to non-technical business partners and support stakeholder data analysis.
