The Data Engineer II will design, develop, and maintain integrated data workflows across enterprise applications.

The role supports global and regional finance, ERP, commercial, billing, trading, account management, platform, and data teams.
What You’ll Do
- Build data pipelines across Workday, Salesforce, internal MiQ platforms, and the centralized BI data warehouse.
- Automate monthly billing-data processing across MiQ commercial regions.
- Act as a technical subject-matter expert in data engineering, data integration, and data management.
- Apply design standards and implementation methodologies to manage end-to-end data pipelines.
- Collaborate with data management, architecture, cloud infrastructure, data quality, analytics, and other technical teams.
- Manage finance integrations and data flows and enable automated finance-data ingestion and processing.
- Support finance insights, accurate reporting, and timely business decision-making.
What You’ll Bring
- 2-3 years of experience in data engineering and data integration.
- Experience building and managing cloud data pipelines on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Hands-on PySpark and advanced SQL experience, preferably with Databricks.
- Strong software development skills using Hadoop technologies such as Hive and Spark.
- Working knowledge of finance ERP suites and SaaS applications such as Workday, SAP, or Salesforce.
- Understanding of data modeling, data transformation, data quality, and data integrity.
- Experience with release management, incident management, SDLC, Bitbucket or GitHub, and JIRA.
- Understanding of clusters, nodes, compute, and storage used to manage and optimize pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Experience working with business and technical stakeholders on strategic data projects.
Platforms and Systems
- Enterprise platforms include Workday, Salesforce, Adaptive, Kyriba, Punditz, and the centralized BI data warehouse.
- The role uses cloud platforms, Hadoop technologies, PySpark, advanced SQL, source control, and project-management tools.
