Role Overview
Amazon's Selling Partner Insights and Analytics team is seeking a Data Engineer to help architect and build the data platform powering Paragon.
Paragon processes more than 500 million cases annually and serves more than 200 teams and 70,000 users.
The role supports data access, trust, analytics, AI and LLM applications, customer experience, and operational excellence.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Design and operate scalable, cost-effective data infrastructure and pipelines on native AWS technologies.
- Curate data for reporting, analytics, and LLM or machine learning models.
- Define logical data models and architectures that scale for emerging marketplaces and global use cases.
- Partner with business owners and technical leaders to gather requirements and shape data architecture.
- Drive standards for system efficiency, data availability, consistency, and compliance.
- Enable large-dataset exploration and implement access controls for standalone datasets.
- Build automation and contribute across design, development, testing, and maintenance.
Basic Qualifications
- At least 1 year of data engineering experience.
