The Data Engineer will build and operate a scalable, secure, and reliable data platform.
The platform will support analytics, data science, and downstream applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain the data platform and core data infrastructure.
- Build reusable self-service pipelines and platform services for internal teams.
- Implement orchestration, observability, monitoring, data quality, and reliability controls.
- Define and enforce platform standards, best practices, and architectural patterns.
- Integrate data from APIs, databases, streaming systems, and other sources.
- Manage and optimize data warehouses and data lakes.
- Collaborate with teams on data requirements and improve workflow performance.
- Implement security, governance, compliance, and documentation practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong experience building and operating data platforms or large-scale data systems.
- Advanced SQL and strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
- Strong experience with Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services, or a similar platform.
- Experience with Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, or similar orchestration tools.
- Understanding of data lake, data warehouse, and Lakehouse architectures.
- Experience with Terraform or a similar infrastructure-as-code tool.
