Core Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient data pipelines processing data from multiple sources.
- Support real-time and batch data requirements.
- Implement ETL and ELT processes for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
- Integrate data from third-party systems and ERP data sources.
- Assist with data validation and monitoring tools to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
Architecture and Optimization
- Support the Senior Data Architect in implementing scalable data models and optimizing pipeline performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve pipeline efficiency and reduce latency for real-time data applications.
- Monitor industry trends and implement new technologies to enhance data infrastructure.
Documentation and Governance
- Create and update documentation for data flows, transformations, and processes.
- Ensure data processes and pipelines comply with Corporate IT data governance, security, and compliance standards.
Analysis and Support
- Perform data analysis and reporting for operational decision-making and performance optimization.
- Provide mentorship and support to Junior Data Engineers.
