Team and Role Overview
MSCI’s Sustainability and Climate Data Collection team acquires data at scale and maintains data quality standards for ESG products.
The Senior Associate will deliver initiatives within the Sustainability and Climate transformation agenda.
The role owns and drives collection transformation projects in collaboration with collection teams and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and process global company disclosures using generative AI across diverse data domains and models.
- Use annual reports, company websites, quantitative feeds, web crawlers, and news articles to create structured intelligence.
- Design scalable AI-assisted sourcing models and automation-friendly collection methodologies.
- Build and refine generative AI extraction models and manage AI agents through validation and expert feedback.
- Partner with technology and transformation teams to optimize workflows, improve data quality, and reduce manual work.
- Define quality-control frameworks, support data delivery, review company feedback, and address client queries.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Environmental Science, Data Science, or a related interdisciplinary field.
