Role Overview
Lead a small delivery pod building modern data platforms on Microsoft Fabric and Azure for global clients.
Own work from discovery and architecture through production handover.
The role is approximately 60% architecture and build and 40% technical leadership, code review, and client communication.
The role is an entry point into a Data Architect track with potential to own platform architecture across multiple accounts.
Location
- The description lists Ahmedabad and remote work.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end lakehouse and medallion architectures on Microsoft Fabric.
- Own storage, ingestion, orchestration, incremental loading, capacity, and cost-performance decisions.
- Lead 3–6 data engineers and BI developers through planning, reviews, and quality gates.
- Translate client requirements into architecture and estimates and support discovery and technical presales.
- Implement governance and security, including RBAC, row-level security, sensitivity labels, lineage, cataloguing, and data quality.
- Set up CI/CD and environment promotion with Fabric deployment pipelines, Git, and Azure DevOps.
