About the Role
The Data Annotator joins Alaan's AI/Data team in-house.
The role enriches merchant data and extracts information from invoices, bills, AI conversation logs, and KYC documents.
The work supports AI-system evaluation, model fine-tuning, and product-quality improvement.
What You'll Do
- Research, verify, and enrich merchant records, including category, name, and logo information.
- Manually extract structured data from invoices, bills, AI conversation logs, and KYC documents.
- Compare AI-generated outputs with annotated ground truth to identify errors, edge cases, and failure patterns.
- Build and maintain high-quality labeled datasets for AI/ML model fine-tuning and retraining.
- Follow and refine annotation guidelines for consistent, accurate, and efficient work.
- Track annotation progress, flag recurring data-quality issues, and share insights with the AI and product teams.
