Roche is seeking an Associate Analyst for its growing analytics team.
The role is intended for an early-career professional with zero to two years of experience.
The analyst will use SQL and Python to solve business problems and support pharmaceutical and life sciences analytics.
Data Analysis and Problem Solving
- Extract, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data using SQL and Python.
- Apply structured analytical frameworks to develop actionable insights.
- Perform data validation and quality checks across reporting outputs.
AI Integration and Innovation
- Apply Generative AI tools and techniques to streamline analytical workflows and improve productivity.
- Use prompt engineering, LLM-driven analysis, and automated documentation where appropriate.
Visualization and Storyboarding
- Translate analytical outputs into dashboard wireframes, visual reports, and data-driven narratives.
- Design presentations and storyboards that communicate insights to non-technical business partners.
Domain Learning and Collaboration
- Build subject-matter expertise in pharmaceutical and healthcare datasets, commercial analytics, and clinical metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, domain specialists, and senior leadership.
- Communicate findings through clear presentations and concise written documentation.
Qualifications and Skills
- Zero to two years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related quantitative role.
- Strong foundational skills in SQL and Python.
- Working knowledge or practical understanding of Generative AI capabilities.
- Strong quantitative data interpretation and structured problem-solving skills.
- Ability or aptitude for data visualization and storyboarding.
- Enthusiasm for learning the global pharmaceutical and healthcare market.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant quantitative discipline.
