Data Analytics and Automation Analyst

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Business Intelligence, or a related field

1 to 3 years of experience in data development, data integration, business intelligence, automation, or a related field

Strong proficiency in SQL and ability to develop and optimize queries on relational databases

Solid knowledge of Python, particularly for data manipulation, scripting, and automation

Good understanding of database concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration and transformation

Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or another relational database platform

Knowledge of REST APIs, web services, and data exchange formats such as JSON

Strong interest in process automation and leveraging technology to improve operational efficiency

Knowledge of Git or another version control system is considered an asset

Experience with a process automation platform or automation tools is considered an asset

Experience with, or a strong interest in, generative artificial intelligence, LLM APIs, AI workflows, or AI agents is considered an asset

Experience with business intelligence tools such as IBM Cognos Analytics, Power BI, or similar platforms

Knowledge of IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) is considered an asset

Curious and passionate about technology, with a strong desire to learn and experiment with new tools

Analytical and solution-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills

Equally interested in data, automation, and development

Self-motivated and capable of working independently while enjoying collaboration within a small team

Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality, reliable solutions

Proactive in identifying manual tasks and opportunities for automation

Able to understand business processes and determine the most effective ways to simplify them through technology

Comfortable working with business users and translating technical concepts into clear, accessible language

Motivated to further develop skills in data engineering, Python, automation, and artificial intelligence
