Amazon is highly data driven and focused on metrics.
Data analysts create reports from data in multiple locations and provide insights into quality defects and inventory adjustments.
The ICQA Data Analyst works with ICQA, Learning, and Finance teams to provide data and analytical support.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Develop data collection processes and data management systems.
- Design SQL queries, compile data, and generate reports.
- Create charts and graphs for reporting.
- Develop Amazon QuickSight dashboards for business decision-making and deep-dive activities.
- Develop Python automation solutions for analysis.
- Prepare and publish reports for business reviews and project updates.
- Support leadership in interpreting data trends.
- Research defect trends and present analysis in digestible standard reports.
- Collect and enter data as needed.
- Support ICQA and Learning team projects.
Basic Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
- Clear and concise communication with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Experience managing large projects from start to finish, including project management, data gathering and modelling, problem solving, and recommendations.
- Ability to understand business and end-customer needs and translate them into suitable solutions.
- Experience with AWS Redshift, S3, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, Firehose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience training and deploying machine learning systems for large-scale optimization, or experience in development or technical support.
