We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our newly-formed Real World Evidence (RWE) division, which enables our clients to maximize their product’s value potential by leveraging real world data and insigh ts to generate clear and powerful evidence and strategies to support and navigate the path to market.

Our RWE team is tasked with developing innovative offerings for Life Sciences clients to access real world data and tech-enabled solutions to further evidence generations and decision making.

The Data Analyst is responsible for developing analysis and reporting to support the RWE business and contribute to the growth and evolution of the RWE division internally and externally.

Typical day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

This role can be tailored to an individual candidate’s strengths and aspirations, but will include a mix of roles and responsibilities, including strategic input and oversight of technical content on both client and internal research and development projects, collaboration internally and externally with experts in specific fields, programming, technical writing, quality control, mentoring, training, and for the suitable candidate, there will be line management opportunities.

  • BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
  • Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst in Life Sciences and/or Pharma
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management, analytical, and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and able to work well under pressure
