Role overview
- Create test plans and detailed test cases from business requirements and functional specifications.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and Software Engineering teams to define testing objectives and scope.
- Validate data integrity, completeness, accuracy, and consistency across data pipeline stages.
- Identify, document, track, and verify bugs and discrepancies for timely resolution.
- Maintain and upgrade Python scripts related to test cases.
- Automate test cases using Postman and other relevant testing tools.
- Improve testing processes, practices, and overall quality.
Desired skills
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in manual testing or software testing.
- Strong understanding of test case design, execution, and defect management.
- Understanding of data pipelines and data validation.
- Basic knowledge of Python and experience with Postman.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- A proactive approach to identifying issues and improving testing practices.
