TikTok is seeking a Data Analyst Project Intern to support data analysis, reporting, and insight generation for the Measurement team.
The intern will work on impactful short-term projects, gaining practical skills in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with data tools, and exposure to statistical or machine learning techniques.
Responsibilities
- Extract, clean and analyze data from multiple sources.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval/extraction.
- Identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights from large datasets.
- Support forecasting, segmentation and performance analysis projects.
- Assist in validating data quality and improving reporting accuracy.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or above.
- Strong analytical and technical skills, including advanced Excel, working knowledge of Python or R, and good knowledge of SQL.
- Solid understanding of statistical concepts and data analysis methodologies, with a quantitative and problem-solving mindset.
- Strong PowerPoint and communication skills, with the ability to present data and insights clearly and professionally.
- Strong attention to detail, ownership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous internship, project or coursework experience in data analytics, business intelligence, consulting, or a technology-related environment.
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Understanding of digital marketing metrics, advertising measurement or social media analytics.
