Role Overview

Vertex Pharmaceuticals GCC is seeking a Data Analyst & Digital Solutions professional to transform data into actionable insights and develop digital solutions.

The role supports business performance, operational efficiency, decision-making, and digital transformation initiatives.

The stated level is mid-level to senior.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze business, operational, financial, customer, and digital data.
Create dashboards, reports, KPI trackers, data models, and visual reporting solutions.
Identify trends, risks, opportunities, process gaps, and automation opportunities.
Translate business requirements into analytics projects, digital tools, automation, and technology initiatives.
Develop and support digital solutions that improve efficiency, productivity, customer experience, and decision-making.
Collaborate with IT, Digital, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and other functions.
Support implementation, testing, system integration, data migration, UAT, and issue resolution.
Perform data cleansing, validation, transformation, quality checks, and data governance activities.
Maintain documentation for data sources, reports, dashboards, processes, and digital solutions.
Research emerging technologies and continuously improve analytics, reporting, automation, and digital capabilities.

Requirements

Experience in data analytics, business intelligence, digital solutions, business analysis, digital transformation, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into practical business insights.
Experience with large datasets, data cleansing, validation, analysis, and reporting.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Experience developing dashboards, KPI frameworks, automated reports, and business intelligence solutions.
Understanding of digital transformation, process automation, and technology-enabled business improvement.
Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into digital or technical solutions.
Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, security, and confidentiality principles.
Clear communication of analytical and technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
SQL, databases, data models, querying, Python, R, enterprise systems, cloud platforms, APIs, and automation tools are advantageous.
Relevant bachelor’s degree is preferred, and professional certifications in analytics, cloud, digital transformation, SQL, or business intelligence are advantageous.

Technical and Professional Skills

Experience with dashboards, KPI reporting, data visualization, data modeling, and analytical frameworks.
Ability to manage multiple analytical projects and priorities simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
