Role Overview
Provide leadership and analytics support to Fraser Health's Centre for Advanced Analytics, Data Science, and Innovation.
Develop and support data products, business intelligence, data extraction, analysis, and performance reporting for healthcare services and organizational functions.
Lead or support cross-functional technical staff and collaborate with healthcare stakeholders across the organization.
Core Responsibilities
- Identify reporting needs, analyze current procedures, reduce redundancies, and align reporting processes with corporate strategies.
- Design and develop BI reporting solutions using SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or related tools.
- Analyze complex data across operational, clinical, financial, and human resource sources.
- Conduct benchmarking and best-practice research and recommend improvements.
- Automate reporting processes and coordinate reporting inputs, analyses, and distributions.
- Perform quality assurance and align analytics solutions with data definitions, production standards, and UI/UX visualization guidelines.
- Support reporting requirements through system implementation and perform corrective action as needed.
- Prepare business cases, briefing papers, and strategic and tactical reports for executives, the Board, and stakeholders.
