DAT Feature and Software Engineer

Assure that the integration of affected systems meet the requirements for accurate feature-level performance.

Support development of Design validation methods to ensure feature robustness across all vehicle environmental conditions and customer usage.

Use data analysis techniques and methods from data generated by track, lab and model-based validation method to ensure feature achieves a desired set of requirement.

Plan and help execute real-world evaluation of ADAS features via vehicle/HIL/virtual testing and identify system problems/issues.

Support and coordinate root-cause analysis with internal functions and external suppliers to ensure delivered system achieves feature requirements.

Support Sign-off of feature level performance for first vehicle program implementation.

Gather quality history to manage and drive feature quality and improvements (i.e.

Data Analytics/VOCF/Launch Feedback/Warranty/External Metrics such as JD Powers).

Domestic Travel Required up to 10%.

You'll have...

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. 3 years of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1.

Developing or testing ADAS features, including developing test methods, defining acceptance criteria and performing root cause analysis of issues. 2.

Design and develop ADAS systems or features using automotive OBD2 functions and tools for diagnostics and flashing software. 3.

Delivering integrated system solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams across software, hardware, test, or systems engineering to deliver product. 4.

Investigating issues and debugging embedded software in vehicles or on an HIL stand. 5.

Recording and interpreting data from automotive CAN, CanFD and Automotive Ethernet networks using RADmoon and Vector CANalyzer, CANoe or CANape. 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1.

Writing script using Python, C, or C++, or analysis with Matlab, to develop, analyze or test ADAS system. 2.

Analyzing large data sets from an embedded SW system for statical analysis, identification of trends or outlier behavior.

We are offering a salary of $93,642.00 - $192,900.00/yr.
