Dark Store Supervisor (For Grandiose E-commerce)

Role Summary

Store Operations

• Lead the complete operation of one dark store location.
• Oversee inbound, outbound, picking, packing, dispatch, and replenishment.
• Ensure SOP compliance for hygiene, safety, receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Maintain organization, cleanliness, and operational readiness.

Team Leadership

• Manage and develop pickers, packers, and other store team members.
• Plan rosters and shifts to ensure peak-hour coverage.
• Train and mentor staff to improve speed, accuracy, discipline, teamwork, and accountability.

Inventory and Fulfillment

• Supervise receiving, storage, put-away, cycle counts, expiry checks, and FIFO processes.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Manage replenishment to keep all SKUs available.
• Monitor picking accuracy, picking speed, SLA adherence, and continuous improvement.

Last-Mile and Facility

• Coordinate with fleet and riders for dispatch and fast handover.
• Manage the staging area for ready orders.
• Ensure delivery within defined SLAs with minimal returns or reships.
• Keep equipment, chillers, shelves, lighting, and systems operational.
• Coordinate maintenance and implement safety and hygiene standards.

Reporting

• Track SLA performance, picking accuracy, out-of-stock rate, inventory accuracy, waste, and shrink.
• Prepare daily store performance reports and raise issues proactively.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience supervising or managing teams in a high-volume environment.
• Strong knowledge of receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and dispatch processes.
• Experience with inventory management and reducing shrink or waste.
• Comfort managing 10–15 staff, including pickers.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with strict SLAs.

Compensation

• The description states pay of AED 4,000–5,000 per month.

Work Location

• Work is performed in person at the dark store.
