City : Decatur State : Alabama (US-AL) Country : United States (US) Requisition Number : 47018 A Day in the Life: The Maintenance Technician maintains all facilities and equipment to promote efficient operations with respect to safety, quality, and sanitation. What You’ll Be Doing: Troubleshoot and repair the facility’s mechanical equipment Plan, lay out, and complete maintenance projects Weld, fabricate, thread and install pipe, and change motors Report all food safety and quality issues Read, understand, and effectively use blueprints, brochures, and equipment manuals Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: Multi-craft experience (2-5 years preferred) Some electrical experience Ability to work at heights, in all weather conditions, and regularly perform strenuous labor Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or GED At Bunge (NYSE: BG), our purpose is to connect farmers to consumers to deliver essential food, feed and fuel to the world.
