About the Role
Iron Asylum is seeking a hands-on Operations Manager to own the full D2C and B2B order operations function.
The role combines senior individual contribution with team leadership and direct operational visibility for stakeholders and leadership.
Order Operations and Team Management
- Own end-to-end order fulfillment across D2C Shopify and B2B distributor and retailer channels.
- Manage and guide the Order Tracking Executive by setting priorities, reviewing outputs, and resolving blockers.
- Maintain order tracking and dispatch and delivery turnaround-time standards across both channels.
Escalations and Claims
- Own escalations involving delayed deliveries, missing shipments, damaged goods, and partner disputes.
- File and follow through on insurance claims for lost or damaged shipments.
- Maintain an escalation log and report recurring patterns with recommended policy changes.
Logistics Vendor Management
- Manage logistics partner relationships, including rates, terms, SLAs, vendor onboarding, and performance monitoring.
