Cybersecurity SOC Program Manager / Analyst (MD, Annapolis Junction )

Plan, manage, and oversee cybersecurity programs and service delivery across multiple domains (SOC, SIEM, vulnerability management, penetration testing).

Define program scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

Ensure alignment with organizational risk management and security strategies.

Establish and maintain governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.

Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external clients.

Communicate program status, risks, and key metrics to leadership.

Facilitate meetings, briefings, and executive-level presentations.

Manage expectations and ensure client satisfaction in service delivery environments.

Identify, assess, and track cybersecurity risks and issues across programs.

Support compliance with frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate audits, assessments, and remediation tracking.

Operational Oversight & Coordination

Work closely with SOC teams, engineers, and analysts to ensure effective execution of security operations.

Track performance against SLAs, KPIs, and service metrics.

Identify gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Develop and maintain program dashboards, metrics, and reporting frameworks.

Analyze trends across incidents, vulnerabilities, and threats.

Provide executive summaries and strategic insights to support decision-making.
