- First line of oversight for the Stakeholder responsible for the Operations and Maintenance of the RPT Core Network
- Designing and deploying network defenses to prevent cyber threats
- Identifying and remediating security gaps across all network layers
- Ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance of all communication systems
- Aligning security strategies with organizational goals and regulatory requirements
- Responsible for delivery of a high quality Cyber Security Framework (CSF) including Cyber Security Assessment
- Provide effective oversight of Cyber Security Consultancy and manage RFX process
- Supervise implementation and operation of CSF by Cyber Security Implementation Consultancy
- Assist RCRC cybersecurity team in defining organizational structure, roles, and responsibilities of planned Cybersecurity function
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years experience in cybersecurity, network engineering, or IT infrastructure security
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
- Advanced certifications preferred (CISSP, CISM, CCNP Security)
- Expertise in LAN/WAN, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, cloud security, and endpoint protection
- Strong knowledge of CSF, NIST, ISO 27001, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Experience in managing RFX processes, vendor selection, and onboarding
- Familiarity with NCA standards and enforcement across contractors
- Ability to identify security gaps, remediate vulnerabilities, and ensure high system availability
- Strong ability to liaise with stakeholders, consultancies, and government agencies
- Proven capability to supervise cybersecurity implementation teams and define organizational structures
- Aptitude for resolving incidents quickly and ensuring resilience against cyber threats

Overview
- A Cybersecurity/Network Engineer is a strategic and technical professional responsible for the secure operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of RPT's network infrastructure.
- This includes all data and communication systems such as local and wide area networks (LANs and WANs), intranets, and cloud based connections.
Your Role
- First line of oversight for the Stakeholder responsible for the Operations and Maintenance of the RPT Core Network.
- Designing and deploying network defenses to prevent cyber threats before they materialize.
- Identifying and remediating security gaps across all network layers.
- Ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance of all communication systems.
- Aligning security strategies with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for the delivery of a high quality Cyber Security Framework (CSF), including an accurate and complete Cyber Security Assessment, for the RPTCO project by the Cyber Security Consultancy.
- The Cyber Security Expert will provide an effective oversight of the Cyber Security Consultancy to ensure that the Cyber Security Request for Information/Proposal (RFX) precisely specifies the requirements of the business and effective management of the RFX process, including vendor selection, onboa
- He will ensure NCA compliance with all Bus Contractors.
- He will be responsible and supervise the implementation and operation of the CSF by the Cyber Security Implementation Consultancy and assist RCRC cybersecurity team for defining the organizational structure, roles and responsibilities of the planned Cybersecurity function within the RPTCO.
About You
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years experience in cybersecurity, network engineering, or IT infrastructure security.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; advanced certifications preferred (CISSP, CISM, CCNP Security).
