Purpose of the Role
Provide experienced execution capacity across the bank's infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity operations.
Perform infrastructure administration, security monitoring, and operational activities across on-premise, hosted, and cloud environments.
Use sound judgment to resolve issues directly where appropriate and escalate matters requiring further guidance.
Infrastructure and Cloud Operations
- Administer infrastructure across on-premise, hosted, and cloud environments, including networks, servers, storage, virtualization, and end-user computing.
- Administer directory and identity services, email and messaging systems, databases, enterprise backup, and storage platforms.
- Apply ITIL-aligned incident, problem, and change management practices.
- Manage the help desk or service management system and ensure tickets are properly logged, progressed, and resolved.
Disaster Recovery and Continuity
- Manage infrastructure disaster recovery planning and exercises against defined recovery objectives.
- Administer data replication technologies supporting production and disaster recovery environments.
