Role Overview
The company is an educational technology platform for student academic orientation and guidance.
The Cybersecurity Engineer will secure the company's web platform, mobile applications, systems, user data, and infrastructure.
The role is conducted on-site at the company's office.
Security Responsibilities
- Conduct web and mobile penetration testing, security audits, dynamic and static testing, and code reviews across platforms, APIs, and iOS and Android apps.
- Identify, triage, and guide remediation of vulnerabilities using the OWASP Web and Mobile Top 10.
- Harden REST and GraphQL APIs with rate limiting, WAF policies, OAuth2, JWT, and other robust authentication controls.
- Implement mobile protections including secure storage, KeyStore or Keychain, SSL pinning, anti-tampering, and secure biometrics.
- Review and harden cloud infrastructure, database access controls, IAM, RBAC, and encryption protocols.
- Verify mobile app store security and privacy compliance and student data protection requirements.
- Implement monitoring, review security logs, and establish incident response protocols.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, web application security, or mobile security.
