About the Role
IBM iX DACH is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to implement security measures across infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments. You will work with DevSecOps, incident response, and security testing.

Responsibilities
- Implement and operate security measures across infrastructure, applications, and cloud/hybrid environments
- Manage and develop central security technologies such as IAM, SIEM, Endpoint Protection, Monitoring, and Encryption
- Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with architecture, development, and operations teams in DevSecOps
- Support incident response processes, implement hardening standards, and maintain security documentation
- Contribute to the development of secure, AI supported solutions and use modern security tools to improve detection and monitoring
Requirements
- Experience in Cybersecurity Engineering, Security Operations, or Infrastructure Security
- Knowledge of Cloud and Hybrid Security, CI/CD Security, and DevSecOps approaches
- Experience in Security Testing and Penetration Testing across applications, APIs, and infrastructure
- Analytical mindset and proactive working style
- Interest in AI Security, API Security, Container Security, or modern security tools
- Very good English and German skills (C1)

Deine Aufgaben
- Implementierung und Betrieb von Sicherheitsmaßnahmen über Infrastruktur, Anwendungen sowie Cloud und Hybridumgebungen hinweg
- Steuerung und Weiterentwicklung zentraler Security Technologien wie IAM, SIEM, Endpoint Protection, Monitoring und Verschlüsselung
- Integration von Security in CI/CD Pipelines und enge Zusammenarbeit mit Architektur , Entwicklungs und Betriebsteams im Sinne von DevSecOps
- Unterstützung bei Incident Response Prozessen sowie Umsetzung von Hardening Standards und Pflege von Security Dokumentation
- Beitrag zur Entwicklung sicherer, AI gestützter Lösungen und Nutzung moderner Security Tools zur Verbesserung von Detection und Monitoring
Was du mitbringst
- Erfahrung im Cybersecurity Engineering, in Security Operations oder Infrastruktur Security mit fundiertem Verständnis moderner Security Architekturen
- Kenntnisse in Cloud und Hybrid Security, CI/CD Security sowie DevSecOps Ansätzen und Monitoring Prozessen
- Erfahrung in Security Testing und Penetration Testing über Anwendungen, APIs und Infrastruktur hinweg
- Analytische Denkweise, proaktiver Arbeitsstil und Fähigkeit, Probleme strukturiert zu lösen
- Interesse an Themen wie AI Security, API Security, Container Security oder modernen Security Tools
- Sehr gute Englisch und Deutschkenntnisse (C1)
Gehalt
- Das kollektivvertragliche Mindestbruttojahresgehalt (KV) beträgt 53.802 EUR.
- Wir bieten ein marktkonformes Gehalt über dem Mindestlohn.
