About the Role

- Develop, test and tune detections and parsers for various tools and technologies
- Perform continuous improvement and validation to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Reduce false positives and improve computational efficiency of rules and use cases
- Evaluate and optimize detection content for on prem and cloud environments
- Mentor and train junior analysts and engineers
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Cyber Security, specifically as a SOC analyst
- Strong understanding of SIEM products from analysis and administrative perspectives
- In depth knowledge of security technologies including SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR
- Proven experience in threat detection, incident response, and security operations
- Excellent knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards
- Relevant certifications such as GCDA, CISSP, GCFA, GMON

- In depth knowledge of security technologies
- Familiarity with threat intelligence feeds
- Excellent knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks
- Strong understanding of network and endpoint security
- Performed Threat Hunting activities previously
Relevant Certifications
- Certified Detection Analyst (GCDA)
- Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Forensics Analyst (GCFA)
- Continues Monitoring Certification (GMON)
