Cybersecurity Awareness & Support Specialist

Role Overview

Awareness and Training

• Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness training materials, campaigns, and guidance.
• Help team members recognize and respond to security risks.
• Answer staff questions about secure behavior.

Security Operations Support

• Assist with incident reporting and document potential threats.
• Escalate security issues to technical security teams when needed.
• Help review basic security practices for applications and networks.

Documentation and Coordination

• Maintain security documentation and playbooks.
• Coordinate with IT and compliance stakeholders on policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor cybersecurity communication channels.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the organization's security culture.

Required Qualifications

• Foundational cybersecurity and information security skills, including common threats, vulnerabilities, and security best practices.
• Understanding of network security, secure configurations, access controls, and safe online resource use.
• Familiarity with application security, secure software use, and basic secure coding or configuration principles.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting security awareness programs, training, or internal security communications.
• Relevant coursework, Security+, CISSP Associate, an equivalent certification, or prior security or IT support experience.
• Comfort working in a clinical or healthcare-related environment and interest in autoimmune disease therapies.

Workplace

• Hybrid role based in Sharjah, with flexibility for some work from home.
