Role Overview
The Cybersecurity Architecture Specialist designs, reviews, and governs secure enterprise architectures.
Coverage includes applications, infrastructure, networks, integrations, and cloud services.
The engagement is project-based managed cybersecurity services for 13 months.
Location and Work Arrangement
- The position is on-site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
- Review architectures for security risks, control gaps, and design weaknesses.
- Define security requirements, patterns, reference designs, and technical control recommendations.
- Review application, infrastructure, network, firewall, segmentation, API, third-party, and cloud designs.
- Guide defense in depth, Zero Trust, isolation, least privilege, secure connectivity, and resilience.
- Conduct architecture risk assessments and document remediation, exceptions, and residual risk.
- Participate in design reviews, security approval gates, and technical change reviews.
- Maintain the cybersecurity architecture roadmap and align it with Ministry policies, NCA controls, and recognized standards.
- Coordinate security integration with application, infrastructure, network, cloud, IAM, SOC, and GRC teams.
Technical Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of enterprise cybersecurity architecture experience.
- Expertise across application, infrastructure, network, cloud, IAM, encryption, and security integration.
- Experience with security design reviews, threat and risk assessments, secure architecture patterns, and technical governance.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust, defense in depth, secure SDLC, NCA requirements, and leading architecture or security frameworks.
Professional Requirements
- Strategic and systems-oriented thinking with strong technical attention to detail.
- Influential communication skills and the ability to challenge designs constructively.
- Strong documentation, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to translate risk and regulatory requirements into practical architecture decisions.
Preferred Certifications
- SABSA, TOGAF, CCSP, CISSP, GIAC GCSA, or an equivalent security architecture certification is preferred.
