Cybersecurity Analyst (Entry-Level)

include providing cybersecurity and IT support in compliance with SECNAV M-5239.2 for CSWF roles; maintaining required certifications and training for all information systems and operating systems within the scope of duties; assisting with POA&M updates; tracking IAVM/patches; and supporting system authorization and continuous monitoring activities under the Risk Management Framework (RMF) to generate control evidence. The position utilizes DOD-approved cybersecurity tools, including DISA STIG Viewer, DISA SCAP Tool, Tenable ACAS, and McAfee HBSS/ePolicy Orchestrator, to assess, remediate, and report system security posture.

• 0–3 years of relevant civilian or military professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or other relevant field of study (or equivalent experience).
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation and authorization process.
• Exposure to or experience with DOD cybersecurity tools, including DISA STIG Viewer, DISA SCAP Tool, Tenable ACAS, and McAfee HBSS/ePolicy Orchestrator.
• Active DOD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.

• Prior internship or hands-on experience in a DOD environment.
• Completed coursework or additional entry-level certifications relevant to operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows Admin).
