Position Overview
The Penetration Tester is part of the Application Security team and focuses on identifying, validating, and resolving vulnerabilities across cloud infrastructure and applications.
The role performs application-layer and network-layer penetration testing to protect information assets and prioritize remediation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual and automated application-layer penetration tests using industry standards and internal methodologies.
- Conduct network-layer penetration tests across network components and operating systems.
- Validate segmentation and scope-reduction controls annually and after significant changes to isolate the Cardholder Data Environment.
- Triage and validate vulnerabilities reported through the bug bounty program.
- Document and risk-rate findings and provide actionable remediation guidance to engineering and product teams.
- Verify exploitable vulnerability corrections through retesting and post-remediation assessments.
