Role overview
The Cyber Security Engineer will contribute to existing product solutions and new product development in the Monitoring and Diagnostics division of Grid Automation.
The role covers the full delivery cycle from solution specification through testing and delivery.
Typical projects include substation SCADA systems.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the Secure Development Lifecycle for Monitoring and Diagnostics products and projects.
- Perform security assessments, threat modeling, static code results analysis, security requirements, high-level design, and test strategy specifications.
- Develop secure deployment guides.
- Review design and test specifications for cybersecurity coverage and secure implementation.
- Coordinate with software teams to prepare artifacts for new product introduction technical reviews.
- Perform cybersecurity reviews for applicable new product introduction technical reviews.
- Create and maintain cybersecurity compliance documents, including NERC CIP, IEEE 1686, and IEC 62443 materials.
- Document product cybersecurity roadmaps aligned with IEC 62443.
- Own cybersecurity roadmap execution with program leaders, the Grid Automation cybersecurity team, and software teams.
- Implement vulnerability and incident processes for Monitoring and Diagnostics products.
